Academic Experience
  • Myroslav Marynovych repeatedly acted with presentations and lectures on religious freedom in Ukraine, awareness of religious minorities, problems in public sector relationships, the spirituality of GULAG prisoners, spiritual problems of today, the identity of the UGCC, military chaplaincy, and ecumenism.
  • Founder and director of the Institute of Religion and Society, the Lviv Theological Academy (later Ukrainian Catholic University).
  • In 2007 became a member of the Univ Group.
  • For more than 20 years, Myroslav has been a member of the Advisory Board on Ecumenism for the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
  • In 2009, he taught a course at the University of St. Volumes from St. Paul (Minnesota, USA) on the topic «Religion in the post-Soviet world: a burdensome legacy and encouraging prospects (with special attention to Ukraine).»
  • Since 2010, he has been lecturing on the course «Conflictology and Religious Context» at the Distance Master’s Program of Ecumenical Sciences of the Institute of Ecumenical Studies of the Ukrainian Catholic University.
