On 7th October Mr Yuriy Yekhanurov had a speech on "How to save the reforms in Ukraine?" All participants discussed the priority ways of economy modernization and positive return on reforms. Implementation of these reforms would demonstrate the public the ability of authority to successful action. There were three key questions on this topic: - Are reforms needed at all?
- Who is interested in them the most?
- What is the real platform of making reforms?
"According to the opinion of Ukrainian's majority reform policy is on the brink of failure", - said Mr. Yekhanurov. Most of Ukrainian citizens think that effective reforms are not conducted at all or are conducted in the way they shouldn't be. Mr. Yekhanurov assured that this trend can be changed with setting up priorities implementation of which would provide positive return on reforms. These priorities could be administrative, social and economic. "To conduct effective reform we need: economic nationalism, uncompromising patriotism and compromises in everything else ", - said former Prime Minister in summary.
