Join the Performance Management and Employee Engagement course with Daniel Lewis (UK), author of © Challenger Leadership development and Executive Development programs. The course is intended to create an understanding of performance management systems as well as employee engagement techniques. Each delegate will have an opportunity to explore their own skills level in a number of personal effective areas and raise self-awareness in these, providing self-development opportunities. This forms the basis for effectively leading others, and tools are provided so that participants have a greater understanding of important topics such as developing high performing teams, staff development and harnessing diversity. The module equips participants to be more confident in engaging and managing others in organizations.

By the end of the course, participants will:

  •     Understand performance management systems and measurement challenges
  •     Know formal appraisal systems and its link to reward systems
  •     Understand the nature of assertive communications and its importance in giving feedback
  •     Understand and be able to implement excellent performance management techniques
  •     Know better how to inspire employees to increase levels of engagement and results

Daniel Lewis has over 30 years of management experience in Blue Chip companies such as Nestlé, General Motors, SABMiller and Heineken.

He assisted Companies in the development of management and leadership skills. He was involved in a successful corporate culture change after an acquisition in South Africa and trained over 250 people in this process. Since 2002 Daniel assists companies in accelerating development of leadership capability of high potentials and senior management. He is a qualified coach (Henley Management College), and fully qualified to administer the Myers Briggs (MBTI) and FIRO-B psychometric tools.

He has lived and worked in six different countries and participated in many cross-cultural projects with remarkable success.

Since 1988 Daniel is a Member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (F.C.M.A.) He is also a Member of the Institute of Management Consultants. Daniel is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (C.I.P.D.).
