The Medici Effect by Frans Johansson

The Medici Effect is built on numerous bright stories about intersections in different spheres, such as business, science, art, and politics. The numerous illustrations vary from a man who on his own and without any help created the first written language of the Cherokee tribe and taught this written language to others, to the group that broke the German Enigma code during World War II; from these illustrations the readers can learn how to break associative barriers and look at the problems in a new way; to combine various concepts randomly but purposefully; to shift from the familiar environment and activity to the unknown; and to act despite failures for the sake of implementing the ideas of Intersection.
