Master-class: «Global IT-markets»

MS in Technology Management (professional masters' program in technology management №1 in Eastern Europe), Lviv Business School of UCU and Lviv IT-BPO Cluster invite you to the master-class «Global IT-markets» with recognized experts of technological business. It will take place in Lviv Business School on 25th of September, 5pm.
Unfortunately, registration is closed, because of limited seating. Applicants of MS in Technology Management Program are allowed to visit the master-class without prior registration.
Master-class will be delievered in English without translation.

Our experts will discuss the various IT-markets development, analyze the preconditions and strategies for the development and share their experience of cooperation with different global IT markets.

Experts are:

Alan Harlan - newly appointed Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors at SoftServe, who is leading executive in the Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Enterprise software development industry. Most recently, Harlan was President, Software Management Solutions and Global Executive Vice President and General Manger of the ISV Division of Symphony Teleca. Harlan was responsible for multiple companies and functions, global delivery and sales with an intense focus on exceptional client delivery driving year over year growth and value. Prior to that, Harlan held senior leadership positions with Affiliated Computer Service, SOURCECORP and Bally Technologies.

Manmeet Singh has been an entrepreneur throughout his career. He established M&M Corporation in 2005 to provide China focused Strategy and Private Placement services to firms in Asia. In 2008 he co-founded an IT education firm in partnership with IBM, Nanjing Government, Nandasoft and Nanjing University. In 2012 the Nanjing City Government appointed him as a consultant to help grow the Technology and Entrepreneurial ecosystem in the city. Since 2008 he has shared his passion for education as Affiliate Lecturer at EMLYON Business School’s Shanghai campus where he teaches core courses and electives on Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

Dmytro Shymkiv
General Director, Microsoft Ukraine. Shymkiv has more than 17 years of leadership experience in the IT industry across Ukraine and Western Europe. He joined Microsoft in 2007 as Enterprise and Partner Group Director and has been responsible for building long-term customer and partner relations and strategically developing the enterprise business. Shymkiv grew the enterprise business to a new level, gaining 60 percent year over year through increased customer and partner satisfaction, focusing on long term sustainable business, organization and people development, driving sales excellence, and enforcing cross-group and cross country collaboration. 

The moderator of master-class will be:

Andriy Hankevych - Lviv IT-BPO Cluster Supervisory Board Chairman, CEO Arivo Solutions, сo-founder Leopolis, Inc. 
Andriy is a graduate of Manhattan College with a degree in "Computer Engineering". Hankevych has more than 15-years experience in the IT-industry of USA. In November 2001, a businessman moved to Lviv to create a software company Lohika Systems, which now is among the three largest outsourcing companies in Lviv. More than 600 professionals create software for eBay, HP, Cisco, Logitech etc. Last year Hankevych started three new projects - Leopolis, Arivo and LeoProSoft. These companies specialize in consulting, developing mobile applications and solutions for business.
