Masaaki Imai, founder of Kaizen philosophy

Masaaki Imai, international management guru, founder of Kaizen philosophy and President of the KAIZEN Institute of Japan. Mr. Imai visited official opening of the KAIZEN Club in Ukraine in December 2011 and hold an open seminar for business owners and directors organized by Ukrainian-Japanese Center in partnership with the LvBS.
 
The legendary book by Mr. Imai "KAIZEN: The Key to Japan's Competitive Success", published in 1986, has been translated into 20 languages. In this book Mr. Imai for the first time introduced the term "KAIZEN" and urged readers outside Japan to pay attention to the enormous opportunities for management in Japan. Since then 3 thousand copies were sold. Mr. Imai's second book "Gemba Kaizen: A Commonsense, Low-cost Approach to Management" was published in May, 1997 and was no less successful than the first book. Now Mr. Imai is working on third book.
 

KAIZEN - it's the constant striving to improve everything we do, that is implemented in different specific forms, methods, technologies and is addressed to people. Although KAIZEN was born in Japan it has spread widely throughout the world and many times has proved to be effective not only in industry but also in the service and public organizations.
