LvBS Community meeting “Financial markets and their role in economic development”

On May 31 LvBS Community met with Ihor Hordiyevych discussing “Financial markets and their role in economic development”. At the meeting we discussed following issues:
-The role of international capital markets
-Main players (issuers, intermediaries, investors)
-Type of instruments used in the markets (shares, bonds, derivatives)
-Real cases from professional experience of invited guest

Our guest is Ihor Hordiyevych, partner at BTG Pactual (investment bank and significant hedge fund with sizeable activities in Eastern Europe and Latin America).  1998-2010 he used to work as Head of Capital Markets CEMEA at UBS.
