On November 12, Paul King held a workshop at the Lviv Business School of UCU for LvBS Community. Professor King teaches courses at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is an experienced corporate CEO and executive coach for Fortune 500 executives, as well as a mentor for emerging leaders.
During the workshop, Paul King talked about the essence and purpose of coaching. Working with his own coach and later becoming a coach for others, Paul King shared some valuable details of his own experience. Professor King also explained how effective mentoring and coaching captures the successes and failures of the past so the next generation of leaders can reach new frontiers.
During the workshop participants had an opportunity to learn about mentoring work and possible outcomes of their job. “Mentors help push leaders beyond their comfort zone to conquer new horizons,” emphasized the professor.
Summing up the meeting with members of the LvBS community, Paul King noted that “coaching is an opportunity to invest in your leadership potential and the future.”
