The Birth of Christ brings light of hope and joy into our hearts, helping us overcome darkness.
As His Beatitude Sviatoslav wrote: “When darkness surrounds us, let the light of Christmas within us shine even brighter! Instead of complaining about the darkness, let us light at least one Christmas candle! When we feel cold, let us warm at least one person with the kindness of our heart, and together we will feel warmth in God’s love!”
May these words serve as a reminder of the power of kindness, which can warm hearts even in the most difficult times.
Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky called us to nurture hope even in the most challenging circumstances: “If Christ is born, if He is among us… there is a reason for hope.”
This hope, rooted in our moral strength, is the foundation of change and victory. So let us keep the light of Christmas in our hearts, which unites us and inspires us to be better for ourselves and each other.
