UCU Business School, in partnership with the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund, is launching a survey as part of the project “Challenges in Employment and Collaboration with Veterans” for small and medium-sized business owners, executives, and HR professionals. The survey results will serve as the basis for a broader research study.
The goal of the research is to explore the experience of SMEs in working with veterans: how employment and professional adaptation happen in practice, which approaches are already working in companies, what businesses need to know about this collaboration, and what kind of support would be most useful.
As part of the study, we aim to understand:

What percentage of SMEs already have experience employing veterans?

how prepared teams are for collaboration and whether companies conduct internal training;

which professional adaptation and support practices are currently in use;
-
Which skills and experiences of veterans are most valuable for business?

Which factors encourage or discourage companies from hiring?
-
What information or tools do businesses lack to develop this type of collaboration?
The survey is anonymous and takes 7–10 minutes to complete. The results will be shared with all participants and will help build a comprehensive picture of the current situation in SMEs, focusing on practical company experience and opportunities for mutually beneficial, comfortable collaboration between businesses and veterans.
