Linda Netsch and Dmytro Sherengovsky «Winning the negotiations: what does it mean?» [Offline/Online event]

UCU Business School invites you to another meeting with a foreign expert. Linda Netsch, lecturer at Harvard Law School and UCU Business School, co-author of the Road to Recovery course, working with Ukrainian politicians, businesses and students and understanding the challenges of the country at war and the need for negotiation skills after its end, is ready to share her findings and advice. Also, Dmytro Sherengovsky, vice-rector for external relations and public service of UCU, will share his knowledge with us. We invite you to the meeting “Winning the negotiations: what does it mean?”, about how to consciously and successfully negotiate and achieve the desired result, which will take place on April 25.


During the event we will learn:

  • how to correctly define the concept of “negotiation” and how to understand whether you have won
  • key skills and aspects for negotiation
  • what kind of “culture” of negotiations Ukraine needs

Speakers:
Linda Netsch  the founder of Align Consulting and a professor of law at Harvard Law School. Linda’s projects include helping companies prepare for major negotiations, working with international organizations to address cultural and communication challenges, and implementing leadership development and corporate change initiatives. Currently, she works as the general manager of FLEX by Fenwick. She has also mediated federal contract and labor disputes and facilitated sessions on changes to federal rules and regulations. Prior to private law practice, Linda served as an officer in the US Air Force, first as a communications and electronics program manager for the NATO satellite project, and then as an attorney practicing criminal prosecution, contract and employment law.

Dmytro Sherengovsky – vice-rector for external relations and public service of UCU, specialist in educational expertise, international relations, management and administration. Since 2014, he has been engaged in international academic relations of UCU, later became vice-rector for academic affairs and internationalization. Former consultant of UNDP Ukraine on the development of online training for business on sustainable development, member of the Midwest Political Science Association (USA), OSCE Research Network and International Studies Association. Former member of the Branch Expert Council 29 “International Relations” of the National Agency for the Quality of Higher Education.
