Open event «Entangling Universities with society: new paths to innovation»

UCU Business School invites you to an open event with a Welsh researcher in the fields of knowledge management and the application of complexity science – «Entangling Universities with society: new paths to innovation». On January 20th, join Dave Snowden as we explore modern approaches to decision-making in complex environments, integrating science into management strategies, and leveraging innovation to address challenges. We welcome the university community, representatives of the public sector, educators, and everyone interested in education and innovation!

Our Speaker:

Dave Snowden – Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of The Cynefin Company and Director of the Cynefin Centre. He is the creator of the Cynefin Framework and the developer of SenseMaker®, an innovative tool for decentralized ethnography. His work focuses on complex issues in strategic management and organizational decision-making, utilizing approaches grounded in anthropology, neuroscience, and complexity theory.

Dave is the author of Managing Complexity (and Chaos) in Times of Crisis and collaborates with governments and businesses worldwide. His articles have been published in the Harvard Business Review, and his work has received recognition from the Academy of Management. He is also a visiting professor at several universities, including Pretoria, Stellenbosch, and Hull, and holds leading positions in research on complexity science and knowledge management.
