Alumni reviews

Volodymyr Romaniak

Deputy Director for Bus Station Operations at Sambir ATP-14608 LLC, class of 2024

I immediately began to gain the knowledge and skills that I really need at the current stage of our company’s work. We are trying to introduce modern approaches to our operations, so now I find this program extremely useful.

Anna Biloshapka

Director of Network and Partnership Development, CoDia, Class of 2023

Studying at the UCU Business School allowed me to show how business tools and the business environment can influence the best performance of organizations, regardless of whether they are in the profitable or non-profit sector. This experience really creates a lot of opportunities.

A business school is a platform where a person develops his or her personal competencies and creates value for the world and, most importantly, for our country.

Olga Zharova

Founder of The EngL, Class of 2021

Studying at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program is about pushing the boundaries in all directions. It helped me to think comprehensively, and UCU Business School became for me a place of strength, like a matrix to which you connect and are filled with energy.

The program resulted in the business project The EngL.

Inga Kordynovska (Drobinova)

Founder, CEO of ID Partners Law Firm (Odesa), Class of 2021

I had a feeling that I had already conquered a certain peak, reached great heights and felt super comfortable there. Then I realized: now I want a new peak. For me, studying became this springboard that helped me make the transition from one peak to another. It was a hyperloop effect, incredibly cool, because changes were happening at all levels.

The UCU Business School is a place of strength, where you come, it charges you, and with a new wingspan you fly on.

Vadim Chernikov

Co-founder of Nudge. Head of NEED / animation studio, class of 2020

I chose the Innovation and Entrepreneurship program at a stage when I had already gained a lot of experience and knowledge by running my own business. But I did all this intuitively, without fundamental knowledge and meaningful skills.

Studying at the UCU Business School gave me the opportunity to systematize my existing knowledge, make it conscious, and acquire new ones, thanks to excellent teachers and excellent management of the educational process. In addition, I became a part of a unique innovative community, expanded my horizons, and simply enjoyed every class.

Studying at UCU Business School is my best educational experience and the best investment in myself. I know that I studied with the best and I am proud to call myself a UCU BS graduate.

Taras Prokopyshyn

Founder and CEO of The Ukrainians, class of 2019

I have a diverse experience of studying at many universities. With this in mind, the MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is just another planet:

  • You study not among those for whom the main value is a “91” on the exam, but among proactive leaders who are constantly seeking new knowledge;
  • you don’t listen to long, boring lectures, but get all the most important things and immediately try to apply them in practice;
  • you don’t prepare for classes by simply copying texts from a book (and then reciting them in class), but by building business models, solving cases, and reading a lot of English-language texts;
  • you don’t feel like a cog in a big system (where even the cafeteria worker thinks she’s the Princess of Wales and you’re nothing), but rather like the one for whom this whole system exists;
  • you don’t dread the start of the next class, but look forward to the new module.

UCU Business School is one love!

Solomiya Boykovych

Co-founder of the Ptashenya kindergarten network, class of 2019

Studying at the program is far from just a list of these modules. First and foremost, it is the expansion of one’s worldview, the realization of the mission of one’s business and one’s own purpose as an entrepreneur, leader, and proactive citizen. Studying at UCU Business School teaches you to make mistakes, work on yourself, change, and accept challenges. Here you will find like-minded people, partners, and friends. Here you will learn how to turn ideas into action, step by step, both through analysis, questions, feedback from practicing teachers, and the sincere support of your classmates.

Tetiana Kostina

Founder and editor-in-chief of La Boussole magazine, class of 2016

The project was born during my studies. Of course, at the idea stage it looked a bit different, but studying acted as a frame, pointing out the important things and discarding everything unnecessary. You may be lucky, but without knowledge, you can lose everything in an instant or be unproductive and inefficient. Everyone probably understands education in their own way. Someone can read hundreds of books and learn nothing from them, while someone, on the contrary, without having read a single one, can come to a lecture that will change their life. Personally, I prefer the format when I know what to read, and the teacher can tell me about it in simple words, because usually his knowledge is real experience. I got all this at school, and I don’t need anything else.
