On this bright day of Christ’s Resurrection, we share the joy of Easter with the entire community of the Business School of the Ukrainian Catholic University.
Easter reminds us of what matters most: even after darkness comes light, and sorrow can turn into joy. In this lies the source of our hope, strength, and endurance.
As the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, His Beatitude Sviatoslav, notes in his Easter message:
“We celebrate Easter, and thus we believe in the victory of life over death. We believe that our sorrow too will turn into joy, for ‘Christ is truly risen!’” Despite the fact that every day, deadly missiles and drones fly in from the ‘east,’ we can already see the Easter sun shining with heavenly radiance above them, carrying within itself the pledge of victory and the foundation of our hope for the complete liberation and rebirth of our people.”
Today, we especially thank our defenders, both men and women, who are defending the life, freedom, and future of Ukraine. We pray for peace, for our soldiers, for the families of the fallen, and for all who need support and healing.
May the light of the Resurrection fill our hearts with faith, hope, and love, and our families with warmth, harmony, and God’s blessing.
