May the Nativity of Christ bring us light, peace, and warmth. May it inspire good deeds, wise decisions, and faith that even in the darkest times, we are capable of lighting a flame – for our families and loved ones, for our defenders, and for all of Ukraine.
Christmas reminds us that goodness is often found in simple yet powerful acts:
- in prayer for those on the front lines;
- in regular giving—even small but consistent donations;
- in volunteering, helping where it is needed most;
- in time devoted to growth and personal development.
May this Christmas bring inner light, clarity, and a sense of grounding. A quiet faith that our work and our solidarity truly matter. And as His Beatitude Sviatoslav, Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, said in his sermon ahead of Christmas: «Christ is the One whom everyone awaits. When we truly believe this, Jesus Christ will be born in our hearts, our families, our homes, and in our Ukraine. That heavenly light will tear through any darkness into which the Russian aggressor seeks to plunge us today, methodically destroying the vital infrastructure of our cities and villages.»
So may faith and light be with us all.
Christ is born! Let us glorify Him!
Christ is born! Let us glorify Him!
