This collection of essays from International Institute
for Ethics and Contemporary Issues, UCU is an endeavor to reflect upon and explore the phenomenon of university resilience in the context of Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine – the largest land war in Europe since World War II. It could also be interpreted as an effort to contribute to Ukraine’s post-war recovery by outlining a conceptual framework for a deeper understanding of the sources and principles of
institutional and community resilience. The collection presents readers with a rich constellation of insights, hypotheses, and case studies, enhanced by the contributors’ international perspectives and first-hand experiences.
