Academic Experience
- At the beginning of the 2022 academic year, he headed the master’s program MSc in Technology Management of the UCU Business School. Mykola is also a graduate of this program and a teacher at the UCU Business School.
- Studied at the Faculty of Theoretical Physics of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, defended his candidate thesis at the Institute of Physics of Condensed Systems of the National Academy of Sciences.
- Later Mykola Maksymenko continued his work at the Max Planck Institute for Physics of Complex Systems (Germany) and the Weizmann Research Institute (Israel). He specialized in quantum systems, network physics and machine learning.
- After that, he returned to Ukraine, where he started working at the SoftServe company. Mykola brought the company’s R&D to a new level. His teams have received recognition and awards at the international level. They develop unique technologies based on the latest scientific discoveries, such as quantum computing and machine recognition of emotions, participate in the Horizon 2020 program.
- The key areas of R&D at Softserve are biomedical technologies, artificial intelligence, quantum computing. Among the developments, the technology of automatic dosing of drugs and analysis of genetic data of patients with COVID 19, measurement of pulse and vital signs from video, 3D scanning.
