MA in Human Resources and Organization Development

The only international master’s program in Ukraine in HR and organizational development. The program is licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

It is a comprehensive program for those who have experience in personnel management and want to move to a new level of personal and professional development. Participants are HR-specialists who seek to structure their experience, get HR and business expertise of international level and develop professional competence of the future.

Training is realised in a convenient modular format that is successfully combined with the work, and takes place in the modern building of the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, apart from exit modules in Kyiv.

Admission to the program


Updated rules for admission as of May 2022, provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Admission to master’s programs in 2022 requires:

for those entering on the basis of a bachelor’s degree:

  • Master’s Test of Academic Competence (MTAC)
  • professional exam in an educational institution

The Master’s Test of Academic Competence will be held in the form of online computer testing.

for those who enter on the basis of a master / specialist’s degree:

You can choose to take:

  • Master’s Test of Academic Competence (MTAC) or an oral interview in a foreign language. The interview should take place according to the program of the Unified Entrance Exam.
  • professional exam in an educational institution.

If you are planning to join this year, you need to:

Register on our website and have an introductory meeting with the program manager (offline or online).

Apply for admission.

Pass the appropriate entrance exams.

Get acquainted with the results of admission (rating lists recommended for enrollment) and fulfill the requirements for enrollment (submit originals of required documents, enter into a training agreement).

Important dates:

  • registration of entrants for the Master’s Test of Academic Competence (MTAC) begins on June 27 and ends at 18:00 on July 18;
  • registration of electronic offices of entrants, download of necessary documents begins on August 1;
  • the main session of the MTAC is held from August 10 to August 17;
  • acceptance of applications and documents begins on August 16 and ends at 18:00 on September 15;

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any program of study (foreign diploma requires recognition *).
  • Knowledge of English at a level that meets the Ministry of Education and Science requirements for admission to a Master’s degree in “Management”.
  • Ability to think logically and critically, knowledge of mathematics at a sufficient level, verbal and communicative skills, willingness to successfully continue the studies.
  • Knowledge of management and administration, sufficient for passing the entrance exams;
  • It is recommended to have managerial experience in the HR management sector; to manage, be responsible for the entire HR sector or one of the sub-functions within the company/organization; to participate in making and implementing strategic decisions within the sector.

* We would like to draw your attention to the need for a mandatory recognition procedure of educational documents issued by a foreign educational institution, based on which you plan to enter the Ukrainian Catholic University. Instructions for remote submission of documents necessary for the recognition procedure by the Information and Image Center and a list of required documents are available at the link

Master's degree Diploma

Participants of the program receive a Master’s degree diploma of Lviv Business School of Ukrainian Catholic University, which could be legalized overseas (to apply for apostille)
