  • senior lecturer at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna, Austria; member of the Balaton Group; founding member of the Global Association of Society for Organizational Learning Communities;
  • founding member of the Austrian Society of Operations Research;
  • former postdoc at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA;
  • former member at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Austria;
  • and former head of strategy at a large company in the electrical industry.
Academic Experience
  • My expertise in teaching, training, facilitation and consulting is rooted in the works of W. Brian Arthur, Gregory Bateson, Jay Forrester, Donella Meadows, Karl Popper, Otto Scharmer, Edgar Schein, Peter Senge, John Sterman and is focused on climate change and energy policy, innovation management, process consulting, systems science, and Robert Musil’s “sense of possibility / Möglichkeitssinn”.
