Ostap is a Ph.D. in Economics and an analyst with more than 7 years of experience contributing to academic and commercial studies in institutional economics, industrial innovation, and economic transformation. He also leads a team of innovation analysts and technology scouts at StartUs Insights. Previously, Ostap landed a sponsored professional internship within the “Leopolis for Future” program (Warsaw, Poland) and obtained a competitive research grant from the Bohdan and Natalia Golemba Foundation at the University of Alberta (Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, Edmonton, Canada). In addition, he collaborated with the Estonian Business School (EBS) on the research project named “Leading Organizational Change in Turbulent Times” (Tallinn, Estonia) and lectured courses in economics at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine). Ostap’s main professional interests include institutional change, innovation policies, scenario planning, and startup economics.
At UCU Business School, Ostap coordinates academic activities at the MSc in Technology Management program, as well as facilitates fruitful interactions among students, lecturers, and other stakeholders.
